The project at Rosenthaler Straße 30 represents the comprehensive refurbishment of an existing office building in the heart of Berlin Mitte, one of the city’s most vibrant and sought-after locations. With more than 20,000 m² of gross floor area, the development redefines the property to meet contemporary expectations in terms of flexibility, quality, and performance.
The transformation involved a full redevelopment of the building, requiring a complete reconfiguration of the internal structure and building services. Particular attention was given to aligning the technical systems with modern office requirements while ensuring seamless integration within the existing building fabric and the dense urban context near Hackescher Markt.
BWK Engineers delivered full MEP design services across all project phases (LPH 2–8), covering Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Extinguishing, Electrical, and BMS systems. The scope included the development of a fully renewed technical infrastructure, designed to support flexible layouts, high user comfort, and reliable long-term operation. A strong focus was placed on coordination and system integration, ensuring consistency from early design through execution.
